Position Summary
The role of the Organizational Development/Effectiveness Consultant / HR
Generalist is to provide organizational development/effectiveness
support to the Strategic Change team on enterprise level initiatives.
The position requires the use of organizational development,
organizational design, and change management methodologies/frameworks
and knowledge of HR practices and processes. The incumbent will be a
member of the Strategic Change team and interact with client teams
across various functions. The candidate should have an OD/OE and HR
generalist background and possess a strong career interest as an HR
generalist.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and design appropriate OD/OE interventions with assigned
clients
- Design, monitor, and adjust change management plans; design, develop,
and deploy appropriate change management activities and solutions
- Build change management/leadership capability in clients
- Act as OD/OE SME on client-facing projects and initiatives
- Provide project support to senior OD/OE practitioners
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of business
experience with at least 3-4 years of practical experience in OD/OE
and/or HR generalist roles
- Experience working in/with different organizational functions, e.g.,
sales, marketing, finance
- Experience working as an OD/OE consultant on cross-functional,
enterprise level initiatives
- Experience as a change management consultant designing and executing
large scale change and communication plans
- Experience in various HR areas such as employee relations,
compensation & benefits, talent management, recruitment, and learning
and development.
- Good understanding of HR processes and labor laws, HR policies &
procedures
- Program and project management experience
- Ability to translate OD/OE theory into actionable plans and solutions
applicable to the client's needs
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and
decision-making skills
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and an effective team
player
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Strong consulting skills - influencing, collaboration, contracting,
and responsiveness
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelors degree
